Who - adgap video production

Adgap is managed by Oliver Cheetham and Matthew Peberdy, who are both film school graduates with over twenty years combined video, film and web experience. Here is a little more about them.

Oliver

Oliver trained at New York University's prestigious Graduate Film department, where he graduated in 2005 with his short film A HIGHER AGENCY, starring Antony Sher and Jack Davenport. Following in the footsteps of past winners the Coen Brothers and Spike Lee, this absurd black comedy won the NYU First Run festival and screened at festivals around the world. He was named in Filmmaker magazine as one of '25 new faces' of independent film.

Other short films include the award winning SOAP and THE SECOND PLAGUE for Fox Searchlab, a new director's program feeding Fox Searchlight and 20th Century Fox.

Since returning to the UK, Oliver has gone on to direct a host of commercials, shorts, documentary and corporate videos - including a nationwide campaign of cinema commercials for Odeon, and cinema and web commercials for the Publishing sector. He has also worked extensively with the Design giant IDEO - ranked by Fast Company among the Top 10 of the World's Most Innovative Companies - producing, directing and editing corporate videos for blue chip clients including Bertelsmann Arvato, Generali Insurance and UBS.

Most recently, he produced and directed the ambitious 3-D animation documentary UNIVESRSE: A JOURNEY FROM EARTH TO THE EDGE OF THE COSMOS for Quercus Books, currently available in the US and UK on DVD with the internationally bestselling book.

Matt

Matt studied Film & Video production at the Surrey Institute of Art & Design, where he graduated in 1997.

Since then he has produced numerous short films, pop promos, commercials, corporate videos and a feature.

Matt has also spent several years working on web based productions as producer, designer, editor and developer.

Part of the team who won a BIMA for work on Hugo Boss's website (PixelPark UK), Matt has also worked for brands including HSBC, Ogilvy, Gillette, Nokia, BBC, Channel 4, Universal and Paramount.

Matt & Oliver met whilst making Matt's graduation film in 1997.
